Being stuck with a poor Nokia 6070, I was in need of a newer, better phone. I needed an affordable phone with at least a descent camera, mp3 player with equalizer, a fm radio and a highly useable organizer which fitted my budget. My eye fell on the W300i and W710i, both fitting my budget. Logically, I ended up with the W710i being newer and all. I am glad to say I made the right choise by defenition. The W710i comes with all the features you can excpect from a mobile phone these days. Though, the W710i offers just a bit more. The 256K color screen displays menu's, themes, pictures and games beautifully. The phone is equipped with a 2.0 Megapixel camera allowing you to take descent pictures and shoot descent movies. EDGE® allows movies, websites, games and other programs to be displayed and processed at a huge speed, something you can't expect from a nokia 6070. The easy-in-use MP3 player is enhanced with an customisable equalizer, Mega Bass®, stereo widening feature and several advanced options including playlists. The FM Radio is enhanced with RDS and includes features such like preset channels. The software is endlessly customisable and multitasking is easy, as the phone allows you to run tons of applications at once. Some other fun features include a step-counter, rss reader, mail and buddy client, PlayNow® and 3D games. The phone is built for active people. The design is sporty and somewhat odd, though kinda fresh. It lays quite well in hand, though it took me quite a bit to get used to it. The external screen annoys me time to time. Though I adore it because it gives me crucial information about my phone and songs, it also intends to light up in bright orange whenever I am talking on the phone. The software and features that come with the W710i are quite amazing, but they come with a downside. Using the mp3 player on a daily base and playing a game every now and then, the battery lasts about one day and half. Whenever I stay over at my brother, I am forced to bring my spare batterycharger so people can reach me.All by all, this is number one favourite from all the phones I owned. It has few downsides compared to it's godly content and the price I paid is better then right. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe this is the best phone out there, yet I do believe this is the best phone for those stuck to a budget. It includes all the features of the newer phones, so this baby just might stay in the running for a while before being outdated.
