Like the Sony Ericsson W800i that won the top CTIA prize in 2005, the K790a is one heck of a cell phone. Inside the stylish and sleek design, you'll find a wealth of well-designed and high-performing features. And as Sony Ericsson's first Cyber Shot-branded phone, the 3.2-megapixel camera is top notch. There were a couple drawbacks here and there--it lacks world phone support, and the navigation controls took acclimation--but otherwise the K790a is a solid device all around.

I bought a K790i abt 2 weeks back for 11K and its been working fine since. An amazing phone to possess!!! Excellent 3.2MP cam, excellent photo quality n useful auto-focus if you dont hv a steady hand :-) The speaker, however is not very loud, but it ain't exactly very low either. Musical Notes can be hard crisp n clear f heard in a silent environment. Voice clarity is good. The best part is that the software is good, does not HANG like NOKIA. Might seem a bit bulky as compared to others in class and the Joystick is a bit delicate, but the other Pros overcome these minor flaws. Moral of the story, an excellent phone!!!

Hi buddiz....im from IndiaIm a sony ericsson freak...coz i simply SE !Now im havin' a w810i and ...well, im done with it...so, im hopin' 2 moov to k800i or k790i....Is there any mixel difference in K790i and k800i ?Coz i saw in some places sayin' itz 3.2 mp and 3.15mp in another .....hlp me out...Thanx.

Its a lovely phone with 3.2 MP camera, and if you know HOW to use a camera, this phone is something to have.

hey guys.......i bought s.e k790i few days back n im very much satisfied wit the camera....man itz awesome.....but not much wit the sound quality.....as im also using k750i.....the sound quality is far more better than k790i itz not that bad if u compare it wit N-series.....s.e can beat nokia at any time

nice phone smart design powerful camera good for music (not the best for music) but a limited no. of applications and games supported ...and records video in ancient qcif (176 x 144 pixels) resolution only (too bad) ...

Amazing design im a proud owner of a K790a is very easy to use, all features in a resistant and compact container, im a electronic technical adviser, in my free time i encounter a little problem with the camera cover is too easy to open that cover and i repair that because when i buy this device this cover opens whit a simple touch. and now the cover opens only when push a little hard the cover. belive me really im very very proud of k790a. a good pice of high tech device. excuseme for the gramatical errors

'bout k790iit had an elegant designvery exclusivei was very satisfied 2great cam-resolutiongood soundbut it's still have a problemthere's many games that can't played in fullscreeni dunno, the problm came from the phone software or from the gamehowever,this was the greatest in its class

helloooo guysss!!! i am a proud owner of "s.e k790i".picture quality is really good.sony ericsson has proved once again that they r the best..though not EXXXtreemely satisfied with music/sound effects..its not bad either..design is also very CLASSY!!..ITS LIKE OWNING A BMW OR MERCEDEZ SLR!!!!!IM VERYYY HAPPY.-bk.

Hi allI am a user of K790i from last one month onwards. I am so excited of its features and sharp pictures its providing with its 3.2 mpxl camera.and its music ability is also not bad except it doesnt have megabass feature that comes even with k750. If they are providing that feature also you cant even think of buying other phone.Its really value for money.Dias

Hey friends....got the K790i a few days back....i was using W810i before this.....as i have used almost all the phones of SE i.e. K700i, K750i, W800i, S700i, W810i....i must say i was xpecting nothing sort of a fantastic model to use when Sony announced K790i....n here i am with the review....Well, if u look at first, the set looks kindaa bulky....its a strange design Sony has adhered to but as u go on using it, u can feel there's something special abt this model...the sharpness of the screen, the upgraded firmware, the cutest n the best GUI, r some of the features that really can be appreciated..but the main speciality is the camera which is 3.2Mpx...i have compared it with Nokia N series 3.2Mpx n boy, Sony just blew away the competition with those razor sharp images...there r drawbacks also...like the music quality is not so guud when compared to Walkman series....but hey we can adjust with that...isnt it????xcept this i didnt find ne drawback.....so friends....if u want a phone with great features, grt solid design n above all a grt camera, then this is the one to go for......Happy shopping
