The reception quality is average for Nokia phones and rouses no cavils. The volume level is not enough sometimes because of the dimensions of the phone and the fact it's better to carry it in a case but not a pocket. Manu users consider 9300 as a cut version of Nokia 9500. And this perception of the younger model makes it look duller than 9500. As for me, if comparing the devices in the ergonomics and the possibilities the customer gets for his money Nokia 9300 will surely beaten the elder model. The advantages are its form-factor, less price and a basic set of the same characteristics. The dimensions of Nokia 9300 are at the edge of comfort, a bit more and the device will get to the portable but not mobile segment just like it happened to Nokia 9500 (it may be called subportable but not mobile).

Ok, so basically in a nut shell this device is definitely a step up from the normal series 60's that I've played around with. Although targeted towards professionals, I as a college student could definitely see myself using this communicator on a daily basis. Especially the voice recorder as a back-up to note taking. The size isn't a problem for me and the keypad is easy to thumb with.

What I basically love about the Nokia 9300 series would be its sleek and professional looks. And also the fact that you operate it like a mini laptop make it even more interesting. A few loop holes that might exist would be its start up time and reading time. Due the complexity or the volume of data in the phone, sometimes it takes quite a long time to open a folder. Low volume compared to other mobiles would also be another disadvantage. But towards the end, managing of meetings, reminders etc and an all in all business phone which looks like one would be the final pointer for the 9300. The 9300 might be only phone other than the other 9000 series to have 2 phones in one. Ill just put down these qualities in points for easy referrence.Advantages:- Amazing Web Browser.- Easy management of meetings, appointments etc.- Sleek business looks.- Its screen is quite amazing.Disadvantages:- Slow startup time.- Slow processing time.- No vibratorOverall I love the phone, been using it for the past 3 months and it has never given me any major problems so far.
