As was the case with the Nokia 6600, the Nokia 7610 is more of an evolution than it is a revolution. It's a good smartphone with solid features including comparably excellent picture quality and comprehensive line-up of software, plus a stable and versatile platform combined with high-quality hardware - but it also has some incomprehensible flaws such as the lack of a lens cover and going from bad to worse with regard to memory expansion. Despite this, and an understandably high price tag, the Nokia 7610 certainly comes recommended.
The 7610 is my new favorite phone. If you were to ask me; if I could be using any phone on the market right now, cost not being an issue, what would it be: it would be the 7610. There are still things I'd like to have seen in it, of course. Stereo support, FM radio, a backlight timeout setting, automatic keypad locking, so on and so forth. But the great physical design, phone functionality, and a Series 60 UI that has finally matured makes this phone a real winner. The megapixel camera is just icing on the cake.
In conclusion, the Nokia 7610 is a worthy purchase. This is especially true in countries where it has already been available for awhile; prices have already dropped quite dramatically. However, it must be noted that there already exists a possible successor to this phone. The Nokia 3230 has been recently annouced: This phone will use Symbian OS 8.0a, include an integrated 1.3MP camera, is 8g lighter, and is slightly smaller, with dimensions of 109 × 49 × 19 mm as opposed to 108.6 × 53 × 18.7 mm. In spite of all this, the fact remains that here and now there is no other phone with this combination of size/features and functionality. The Audiovox 5600 SMT might be a worthy alternative; but in the US it requires you to sign for an exorbitant data plan, and in any case it loses the ability to take instant A4-sized scans. Provided that PDA functionality is useful to you; it is really a no-brainer.

A great phone ever i used. Its great design, features, camera, & so on.
i love it too))... i love its designe!!!! i bought it actually only because of its design))) i didn't even know that it's SMARTphone))... only then I realized that it's the best phone I've ever had... and WILL have.. if it'll be broken. i'll buy the new one NOKIA 7610!!!!)))

I bought 7610 before 6 months.. i dint got any prob with tat mobile till today.. it will accept any type of softwares we install in it.. i is more user friendly than other new models.. i used sagem, samsung, sonyeicson before this but i found nokia 7610 is the best among alll......... thnk

HmmmmActually I got this from my parents.My mom use this phone first. And then she gave it to my father. Because both of them hardly see fonts in this phone messages, they give them to me....After I got this phone, i search all usable software in this site and other site...From now on, my phone already have mobipocket, smart movie, fx camera and also several games...I can also use the email server, eventhough sometimes the gprs still pside down (operator responsibility)What I hate is that this phone don't have radio...But that's okay, because I got 512 MB RS MMC for this phone, i can fill them with more than 400 songs... So Ican make my own radio...I think the sounds still okay.. You can change with better headset for better sounds..But the speaker was also good I think, because with the lowest volume, the whole room still can hear it...Haven't think to change this phone yet...Maybe If 3G phone price will be lower, I'll think about that!!!

nokia 7610 is a good phone. it has lots of cases avalible so u can customise it and it also has lots of dwnloads so u can almost fully customise this fone. wouldnt recomend unless you have had sum expirence with fones as sum of the things on it can b tricky. the 10mins video recordin is gd but cud b beta (i think u can get sum software 2 do this) overall gd fone easily customisable
