Well, the 6600 is a very capable device. It does everything well, for the most part. So why don't I love it? Well, to me it doesn't do enough more than the prior Series 60 devices did. Yes, it has a much nicer display. Yes, it can shoot (9 second) video clips. Fine. But...I expected more. If not more functionality, then at least a more luggable package. This thing is still quite big, and will have a hard time standing up to new Series 60 devices like the Sendo X - which should be arriving on the market "very soon." So, do I recommend the 6600? Yes, certainly. I don't know if I would upgrade from a 3650 or 7650, though, as I don't think there are enough compelling changes. But if you are in the market for a new business capable phone, and don't want to deal with a stylus equipped PDA like device such as the P900, then the 6600 will probably suit you just fine.

The 6600 is more of an evolution than a revolution. In spite of this, Nokia's third generation smartphone finally performs the long-anticipated, proverbial slam dunk as a number of scattered improvements raise the overall impression to one of utter reliability and versatility. Frustratingly, it still lacks Tasks and Notes synchronization with desktop PIMs, but this aside the Nokia 6600 presents itself as a potentially excellent tool for business users and one very smart phone for everyone else.

what can i say 'bout 6600? well, the first time i laid my eyes on it, thats when i realize that "love at first sight" really do happen.. so i really saved up to buy one... and it cost me P16,000... (6-7 years ago).. do i have any regrets? none of course!! as a matter of fact, that very same unit is still the one that have right now.. lots of new units had came and gone, with more features to offer.. so why i didnt let my 6600 go? its simple, after 6600, theres nothing else that those new units have to offer me... 3g? dont need it... PTT? for what, extra income for the network?... dual cams? twisting & turning parts? i mean, with my 6600, i can send & receive sms,mms,bluetooth & infra.. i can take pictures... i can play games... very user friendly, appearance & profile editable to fit my style and mood, the memory is expandable up to 1gb (if you choose the right mmc)... with some added applications, i can shoot long videos, i can play lots of music... and a do lot more.... the only downside that i can say bout 6600 are, the cam pixel, screen resolution & the sound... but i can live with it... and the best thing that i love my 6600 is it being very tough! i've accidentally dropped it several times and its still "ALIVE", havent had it repaired not even once since day one, well except for casing replacement and virus problems(but i learned)... so my 6600 stays and thats what i can say 'bout it... g'day to you all...

In my opinion Nokia 6600 ruled the world of mobile. Now a days when there are much better mobiles, Nokia 6600 still ROCKS !

i have one and i love it but the 6600 had:-level of sound very low-quality of sound very poor -the number of colors is very very low-camera is medium-fragilebut:-Accept most extension:mp3,ogg,mwa,rm,avi,mp4,divw,pdf,doc...-very empty freewere:.sisDownload my Themes of 6600 you will See!!!
