Nokia 6131 Review (Expert)

While design-wise, compared to Motorola's RAZR V3, it is hard to call the 6131 "slim" with any real conviction, it's certainly on the better side of good for its size. Weighing in at just 102g, it feels comfortable to hold, and doesn't weigh down your pockets unnecessarily. The real winner here, though, is the internal keypad. Put simply, it's big. In fact, the entire design rationale with the 6131 is to keep things simple, refined, even elegant. Ultimately, with a lustrous black design, a fair set of multimedia features, and good support for more business-related activities, the Nokia 6131 performed well. While its looks are bound to be somewhat subjectively interpreted, it has a handy features set, and most importantly it's highly intuitive and easy to use. As a mid-range handset with a pleasant price tag, Nokia users shouldn't be disappointed.

I have nokia 6131..The phone is good , but he hasn't send vCart, or i dont now. The names and phone number I can't send to another mobil phone, or send to my PC . He hasn't this options. Can I find something softwer for this..? Please help me.... write to me: inter.arh1<email snipped>.com

This is pretty good mobile phone. I used it for 3 years and I never had a single problem with it. It worked perfectly and I also found tons of nice themes / software and wallpapers for the Nokia 6131 phone from M9.This phone is getting a bit old and it's not so hot anymore but it's still one of my favorite phones ever, 'cause it didn't let me down ever. It's really good device for anyone who doesn't need the latest software in his/her phone.

I have 6131 also.My experience is;I want some gaming phone but to buy n-gage QD...Nahh... I have n-gage classic already...Then I decide to buy the latest phone available(This scene in Nov 2006, the pone comes out at June 2006)So, I buy it...At that time I do not know the differences between symbyian and S40.So, it is sooo much disapponitment when I know that S40 is soooo damn limited when it comes to software installation...But I have to accept it as my phone anyhow....And I try to modify it, optimizing it to macth the symbyan S60...of coz it can't even reach the feet of symbyan, but it I found that S40 is sooo damn faster than symbyan phone if compare to my N-gage classic and N-73 phone...My battery can stays up to 3 hour when i play java games plus Mp3 al together...And beside it also can play wav, ang wma file with the music player,The speaker performance is good depends on the quality of yourr music files, wma is the best result....Java memory is only 900kb, which is not enough for me...The 3D graphic is limited to certain games only...For file man you can use file explorer(java application not included)...Bltooth coonection is good, easyly transfer thorugh sony-erricson phone and other nokia exception to motorola. With my compact laptop it is freindly...And I use 1G card, damn not lag at all...But Symbyan is steel become my secret lover...p/s : Don't tell my nokia 6131..

well,i love it but the camera is default...my other phone, siemens m65,the resolution of the camera in the night is better than the 6131...out of this the nokia is really good!

Hi everyone...I think that is an exelent phone, I have it and is easy to understand...The only thing, the only problem I have is that I don't konw how I have to do to instal all the aplicattions and games. But for a person who have a digital camera of 5mp, 1.3mpx in a cell phone is enough.Bye...and if anyone knows the way to make work the aplicattions and games make me know at: lucasdinezio<email snipped>.com :10:

My phone is actually a 6133, which is very similar to the 6131. The one problem I have with my phone is the fact that I can't use the free mp3 ringtones. All I can do is save them to my music player & play them Other than that, I love the other features of my phone! I have noticed that my battery seems to run down quickly, but I just assumed I used it too much!!! Oh, and my camera shots do come out somewhat grainy most of the time. It is hard to get a clear picture on it.

I bought my "red" nokia 6131 almost a year ago & I was so desperate for it I bought it from France! Honest! I absolutly LOVE it, I previously had a nokia 6101 but got fed up with its lack of memory and the 6131 was the perfect replacement. I must admit that I have always been a nokia fan, I tried a samsung flip once and hated it, so I traded my Friend her nokia. The 6131 is FANTASTIC, especially as it has the memory card slot. The only problem is the battery, but I LOVE MY RED NOKIA 6131. Joanne, Manchester
