The Nokia 6111 offers a long-awaited improvement of Nokia's user interface, as well as a well-performing Megapixel camera and EDGE support for high speed data transfers - all in a slightly chubby yet unmistakably small slider form factor. Unfortunately, the handset's display and battery life follow said form factor in not being state of the art - still, the Nokia 6111 should be considered a good buy for people looking for a stable and small mid-range handset. What's positive: Intuitive user interface; good camera; EDGE for high-speed data transfers What's negative: Unimpressive display; mediocre battery life

All in all I had a good experience with this 6111 slider and I would give Nokia high marks for producing this model which is a refreshing change to their array of monoblocs I’ve used all these years. Honestly, I’d even go as far as to say I prefer a sliding handset to a fold-up phone there’s just something slick about a gadget that reveals its whole form with just the flick of a finger, if you know what I mean.

This 92g phone barely the size of a credit card packs enough functions to satisfy so long as you are not pixel and memory hungry. The picture quality of its mega-pixel flash camera is nothing to shout about though...Some may also feel disappointed with the absence of a memory card slot in these days when we demand 24-hour mobile access to everything we own. The excellent MP3/ACC music player with a built-in audio equaliser is a wow, but rather limited when the phone offers only 23mb memory..Unlike some of its designer predecessors, 6111 does not sacrifice sensibility for good looks and smallness. In fact, it's pretty impressive in its ergonomics. The buttons are a good size and pressure, elongated nicely to fit our hands. The push-up slide mechanism even gives us the thrill of answering calls with a thumbs-up gesture...On the final note, if you prefer having radio over 100 mp3s on-the-go, if you're looking for a design of understated chic, and don't mind seeing your own fingerprints all over the phone's shiny surface, then 6111 is perfect for you.

[COLOR=purple] I already have more than 1 year with my nokia 6111. Altough it doesn't have much memory for songs... i think it's a very good phone. I fell in love with the design, love the way it takes pictures and video... i love that i can use a lot of ringtones.. the memory is ok if you just wanted a phone... if you want a mega memory for 29837322714264 songs that you can't listen in a day and all that stuff.. get yourself an Iphone.. XD

i got nokia6111, it is a good phone. the '+' are that its small,perfectly fits on hand, 2nd '+' is: that u can play 3d games on it, and thay accually good, on other phones u cant play em bec its wery laaging. 3rd '+' is: not so bad photos ( i know...i know... not 2mp, but not so bad, atleast 1) well i told the '+' which i think, are most important for the phones. , so its time for '-' . the bigest '-' is: no memory card!!!!!! ( noooooooooo!!!!!) so u hawe to use ur 20-23mb as clever as u can, but if u dont like listening to music, or u think that nokia's 6111 player cant play that volume music as u want that it play, its good.the max nuber of songs ( normal size songs) is 4. so i better get 50 games on it, and u know playin games is much better time spendin that listening to my 4 songs. well the 2nd '-' is no 3g, but edge is enought, better than gprs is enought lol. so if u hawe that phone too and u are angry that it cant hold atleast 100 songs, remember. there will always be worse and better phones than urs. ( remember nokia 3310 and then look at ur phone, and ull be heppyest in this world) nokia 6111 hoooraaay, think what u want

I got the pink nokia 6111 in may 06, and ive had nothing but problems with it. If i try to click on certain things the screen fades to white n turns itself off and also the memory on the phone is crap!!! i have to compress all of my songs and i can only fit 6 on even when i have done this!!!

My sister bought the pink one!!Is very cute...the features are very goodtheir 1Mp camera is very good and the camera light helps a lot the quality of the images taken by the camerathe screen is nice...not the best (120x160px) but have 262k colors...xDvideo quality is normal to a mobile phone (176x144px(QCIF))The apearence is 10/10...so small and so preetyI love ItThe problem in this phone is the memory...23Mb is very nice for an internal memory but have no memoryCard slot 8/10 I think

Had this phone for a few months now, although i read some really rubbish reviews for it on the internet, i am really impressed by it. The Design of the phone, and the sliding is superb. The screen is very clear, text messaging is easy. And accessing the menu is easy to. I was also very impressed with the camera, even though it's only a Megapixel camera, it is superb, the pictures i have taken with it so far have been great. Even without flash, better then most camera phones i have had in recent years.Also the FM Radio feature is good, and it doesn't seem to drain the battery as much as other phones i have had with FM radios built in. Comfortable hands free kit to.Battery power is very good. Can't complain.

yeh i got this fone yesterday, it is really good, kept me occupied for an hour and 40 mins in computing, but yeh, it hasnt got alot of memory but it cetainly makes up for it in other features, and i agree with blickchick, the msg'ing is confusing, but alas you'll get used to it..

i got this fone today!! bein using it da whole day. its reli nice!! i hav got onli 3 mp3s on it. i had 4 but then i codnt save alot of messages!! ive always gone for a fone for the features. this fone has got da looks. and the features to besides the memory but who cares, if u want a nice lookin small fone den its for u. and ppl hav been complainin bot da screen blanking out. it may be true but thats because they dont look after their stuff properlly. just the messaging thing is a bit confusing.. ya good fone!!
