Nokia 6101 is designed atypically for the Finish company. Those who see it for the first time, usually suppose it is manufactured by some Korean maker, but not Nokia. The body is slightly narrowed on the bottom and the edges are splay, a small exterior antenna is a part of the body. The phone size is average for this class (85x45x24 mm, weight: 97 g). A colour solution, without risk of loss, chosen for the body is a combination of silvery and black. The black surface is easily marked, fingerprints stay on it, though they are hard to notice. The assembly quality and plastic quality are high, here are no problems...The device provides normal connection quality causing no problems. Almost in any case you'll find the loudspeaker volume and microphone sensitivity enough. The 40-tones polyphony sounds well, MP3 files can serve as call melodies. Speakerphone is present; it can be turned on pressing the right functional key during a conversation. The realization is average, the volume is enough not always. Nokia 6101 is a functional copy of Nokia 6170 in another body only. No peculiar functions are provided to a user. PTT doesn't look attractive for many people. And only EDGE can interest some customers in this model. An unusual design for a Nokia phone can tell positively or negatively on the sales.
The buttons on the unit were nice too. A little to stiff for my liking, but they may loosen with time or could be different on the retail piece. Spacing on the keypad was excellent as it has big block buttons and will be a great phone for those of you who want simple functional keypads with large buttons...The 6101 is a good little phone to use. I had no major issues with it. The Unit I had came with netmonitor so I noticed similar RF levels to the 6230/Razr/V635 so it's good on that front. Ring quality was loud but high in treble. The camera is nothing special, it's pretty much a 3220b folded into a clam. The earpiece quality was also good, I'd like it to be louder so I'll check the retail version after and see if they upped it.
While slightly thick and heavy, especially when compared with other clamshells like Motorola's V3 and Panasonic's A400, the 6101 feels well-sized and good to hold...Navigation is expectedly simple for a Nokia but the processing speed of the 6101 is unusually slow at times. For instance, there's a noticeable 1- to 2-second lag between flipping the phone open and answering an incoming call and the call actually being picked up. Same thing goes for opening incoming messages...We had no issues with voice quality or call reception with the triband 6101. With an average battery life of three days on normal usage, two full charges of the 760mAh battery should be enough to sustain a full week. The 6101 is a well-balanced, sensible option for anyone looking for a clamshell without all the bells and whistles that aren't always needed or used.

buddy nothing can b done on the memory probs ,, but yes if u wanna extend the duration of the video's u can use 3rd party softwares like 3gp camcorder or many camcorder r thr which extend the duration to unlimited or till thr is free memory on ur phone.thnx
it doesn't have bluetooth and not a card slot.. I'm using it right now.. when the memory is full I always deleted some items which I'd like so much... but the good thing is it's a handy phone.. very good colors (In screen) and a user friendly.

Bluetooth, larger memory and more info on it would be great =)It's a great phone besides mentioned, with dual screens and easy to navigate menus
My 6101 would be the pefect phone if it had bluetooth and longer video clips. It`s easy to use, with the large buttons, looks good, and I like being able to personalise the 2 front screens. The battery life is excellent, and it`s robust and uncomplicated.
