There aren't any problems with speech's transformation, this is a typical Motorola phone. The ringtone's volume is average, and above average in case mp3 file is used. It's easy to hear the phone ringing even if it's carried in your clothes, vibrating alert is average or slightly above it. he presence of powerful processor did not affect battery life, but instead it improved interface speed. The phone's weakest spot is its camera, it is below average. At the same time all other functions are really different from what we've seen on the market. Phone book, organizer, mp3-player, radio and profiles with separate sound setup, mass Bluetooth sending, surround sound, voice navigation – all functions are unique. You can say that one or other function lacks something for advanced user, but on the whole phone's functionality is not only overcomes common phones, it also makes some smartphones look inferior. The phone's size is not big at all, there are control keys for the player, the display is best in its class.The model is a revolution and will certainly become a hit, but what kind of hit? It all depends on Motorola . The phone doesn't have any competitors while being positioned as music phone, nearest ones will appear only in the end of 2006 and will have bigger size.

I love my rokr e2, i like to hear mp3 via Headphone,its amazing after software for mod e2 was released--> faster--> stable--> more feature found--> the best for play mp3's--> overclock-able from 312mhz to 415mhz pross--> etc-etc

So far, I have to note that the 3.5mm headset connection is a plus, as well as having a slot that accepts normal, everyday SD cards (which makes it easy to transfer files to and from other devices). The keypad has a nice feel, and the size and shape makes it easy to pocket. On the downside, the Linux OS (or the hardware) is a bit slow. The lags and delays you get from opening apps and sifting through menus can get tiresome and frustrating. But I have to confirm if I just got a bad review unit.Did they send me a lemon or can anyone confirm this?

Managing Your Music Library is poor in ROKR E2.The fone is unable to recodnize Artist or Album info from the folder. SE Walkmans are best for music...and keep a well organized music library.

I beg to differ, iTunes was slow and cumbersome on mobile phones, not to mention it had the 100 song limit. Using the E2's own media player you can stilll select by Artist, Genre etc. as well as do the whole Shuffle thing, and the amount of songs you can put on in only limited by your memory's capacity, right now that means 500 songs, blows huh. On top of that the phone uses SD cards, instead of miniSD, which is good as SD has reached higher capacities and is cheaper. Its also has a radio and USB 2.0 and one of the best screens in the mobile world, just look at the conparison with a D600 here: http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-e2-2-en.shtmlbtw, thats also a good review of the phone.
