by the way the easiest way to install java on LG KG800 is to get the phone and connect it to the computer and dont put and modem thing or anything. then go into the other folder and paste it there. unplug and go into other and find it and press ok. sometimes this will not work.edis

i have had this phone for 8 months now and i have sent my back so many times, i have had 5 phones now and the one i have got now is still brokenive tried to go and get money back but is it not allowed. while i was in the shop about mine 5 other people came in with the same phone about the same reasons. i will no longer have an lg phone again with how many problems i have had.

I bought this phone for my wife as soon as it was available in Australia.in the past year it has been repaired 3 times and finally replaced with a refurbished model. it has failed again.we have now tied to send it back to LG for a new replacement.the phone developes a problem where you can't hear the other party, or they can't hear you.we had the phone returned to us from the repair shop and when i tested it in the shop, it was still faulty.I'm not the only one. i have two workmates who know people with the same problem. when talking to a phone shop consultant, they admitted that LG know that the phone is crap.

i agree with all of the rest..it's a lovely phone..BUT, one niggling point..It wont let you change the message tone to anything other than the four tones provided..you cant use the mp3's as message ringtones...a shame but other than that i'm very happy with it.p.s. If anyone has advise for changing message tones id appreciate it!!

ok, the features are pretty poor, but most wouldve have knew this before buying the phone. so exceptthat, it is probably the best phone i have ever had. its easy to use mostly, it looks great and feel better. the sound isnt bad and the display resolution is crystal clear.great phone

Just letting those that want to know and don't, this phone is absolutely adorable.It's ergonomics are fantastic, it's just oozes style and sexiness straight out of the chocolate box.The specs may be yesterdays news, but the design of this phone has to be admired, a bit like the revolutionary RAZR series from Motorola this will astound you.I know Samsung have been kings of the sliders for a while now, and now Nokia and SE are getting on the train, but I think LG have just almost perfected it.The build quality is great, with metal and smooth edges it is much better than the plastic feeling of the 6280 from nokia, and it may not have the chrome of the 8800 but this has a quality screen and touch navigation.Quick access buttons like camera and mp3, make it that much more easy to use. It's no SE user interface nor is it Nokia, but it does hold it's own against the user interfaces of Motorola and Samsungs, (it even uses a very similar UI to Samsung in actual fact, from the main menu to the camera view mode)I knew i ws going to like this phone, but i love it even more after i've been playing with it for a few days.One simple note:Anyone who has played around with it, wants one, i think that explains it all!!Credit to LG for changing and adding to the competition, they may not bring out handsets every other day, nor do they have any decent models currently, but with this they just stuck their foot in the door to the big boys only club.
