just change the file name into .jar
like this Ex= mariobros.zip and change the format by typed mariobros.jar

exactly what blade said, houchi's method won't work
no you cant . see i think you download it from internet . you must open it and then evry file is there in it convert to jar.
if u want to chang any file's extension into any format just go >> Mycomputer >>tools>>folder option >>views>> replace the tick mark frm "hide extension for known file type ...then press ok
then change ur files name as whatever u want .... like .jar , .sis , .mp3 ,.mpg etccccccccccc
but u need a compatible file for work any file in ur mob .......... 
you cant chang a zip file to jar file. its impossible. BUT if you have a zip file include a jar file (some times when a file(for example: jar file) is downloaded from internet it's in zip format) you can unzip that file and get the file you want. for unzipping use "winzip" or "win rar"
bye thise softwares on yor computer you can see ang get the files in the "zipped files" easily.

there is 2 way :
1.extract zip folder that include .jar file in your pc then transfer .jar file to your phone via bluetooth or usb cable or...
2.(just for some zip files that not include jar file) transfer zip folder to your phone then change extension .zip to .jar with some programs like mobilerar,myphone explorer ,...
or also you can do that in ur pc then transfer to ur phone , by change extension in ur pc (in ur pc : on menu bar : folder option-> view -> hide extension for ...(remove mark) )
